Sex and the City – Movie

Why am I not surprised this movie made an accumulated $57,038,404 in its first weekend in theaters. I myself made sure to go see this movie as soon as it hit theaters. And I was actually surprised that the writers were still able to come out with seeminglessly catchy phrases, one of which I started to use, “Coloring,” lol. :]
Although this movie was not as fierce as the ever so clever HBO serious, it still has that classy feel we all know and love. But I still can’t help but feel somewhat remorse for the low level of complexity this movie carried. More or less, I absoulely loved the movie, its just that it lacked that ”Pizzazz” we all have been dying to see. For example, there was a complete lack of development when it came to the stories of Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha. I mean, I know how much we all love Carrie, but instead of focusing on the development of just one character’s story, I would prefer it if the focal point be more on evening out the ties between each of the characters plot. More or less, strengthening the bonds between each sub-story.
Although, SATC failed at this tiny, impervious flaw it was still a wonderful movie, and I enjoyed, basically, every single frame that flew past me. I would love to see this movie once again, and I’m pretty sure this movie is a ‘keeper’ for all those hardcore Sex addicts, who will surely squeal and kick up their Manolo heels for the big-screen adventures of Mr. Big and the fab four fashionistas.

it’s really fantastic that you found a way to capture so many elements of the film in one review. it is true that the entire movie focuses on carrie. there are many more parts to the movie including her best friend’s stories.
you write very well and i love how detail-oriented you are. good job!
